| Killing green areas could cost NIS 10B |

| Clal Insurance will provide life insurance, at its own expense, for all Maccabiah participants to cover them against terrorist attacks, said Avigdor Kaplan, President and CEO of Clal Insurance in a letter to Minister of Science, Culture and Sport, Matan Vilani. Clals coverage will be $100,000 per claim. Kaplan expressed his hope that other insurers will join the initiative so that the coverage can be expanded. Holding the 16th Maccabiah as scheduled [in July] is one of the best ways to prove that the enemies of the Jewish people in general and of the people living in Zion specifically shall not prevail, Kaplan wrote in his letter to Vilnai. |

| The cost of not watering parks and public gardens will come to NIS 10 billion, the CEO of Gvaot Brenner nurseries, Moshe Shaul, estimates. This is the amount local authorities invested in developing public green areas in Israel. Watering these green spot s accounts for only 5 percent of all fresh water consumed in Israel, he said. Shaul said rather than drying up greenery the government should treat faulty piping and end deciduous produce. |

| Industry minister orders importers to label returned goods before resale |

| Industry and Trade Minister Dalia Itzik signed an order last week, effective 60 days after publication, compelling importers to label clearly those products returned by customers and repackaged for sale. Until now only manufacturers were obligated to men tion this on product labels, and importers took advantage of this loophole. |
